The Hertford composite exterior door is a contemporary design with four squares of glass on the hinge side set against a flat slab with a grained, wood like effect. This door can be ordered with one of our catflaps or pet doors set between the centre and handle side of the door. Options for our catflaps and pet doors include those that require manual locking, and SureFlap microchip catflaps and pet doors activated by your cat or dog's microchip. All of these come in white, with some also available in brown.

Choose a GRP (glass reinforced plastic) finish for your door, with an easy to clean and high impact skin. Colours include standard green and blue, bright poppy and heather, anthracite and slate greys, and rosewood and oak woodgrains. Your frame can be colour matched to the door, and the same applies to any solid panelling you might have with top lights or side panels. We also offer a bespoke painting service should you require your door to be a specific paint colour, with this service available for RAL colours, British Standard, Dulux and Farrow & Ball paint codes.

Our composite external doors are up to six times more energy efficient than timber doors, with warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass units to reduce heat loss, and pre fitted, long lasting Q-Lon gasket weatherseals providing a solid seal against the cold outdoors.

We provide a free survey with fully fitted doors, and full payment is not required until after fitting (while orders over £3000 are subject to a deposit). With the measurements taken from the survey, our sales team will discuss any changes that might be required due to the sizes, whether in relation to the minimum and maximum possible dimensions for the door style, or perhaps the need for a low aluminium threshold for wheelchair access.
