The Suffolk composite door is a contemporary country design, with a cottage style slab (also known as a Kingston) that has a vertical tongue and groove pattern sectioned within the centre by a grooved box, leaving a flat border, and with a diamond shaped glass panel in the upper section of the door.
Our composite external doors are up to six times more thermally efficient than traditional timber doors, as they have warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass helping to keep more heat indoors, and long lasting, wear and tear resistant Q-Lon gasket weatherseals lining the door's edges providing a firm seal against the cold outside. Our composite doors also include a steel reinforced frame, a high impact GRP skin, and a Secured By Design multi point locking system for added protection to your home.
The Suffolk composite door is available with one of our pre fitted catflaps or pet doors (for larger cats or small to medium sized dogs). The manual catflaps and pet doors are locked by hand, while the SureFlap microchip options work by recognising your cat or dog's microchip.
We offer a variety of colourful and grey finishes, from aubergine (also known as plum) to silver grey, and the wood grains rosewood and oak. While the frame is white as standard, it can be colour matched to your door. The majority of our customers prefer to keep the inside white, but this too can be a different finish of requested.
Our composite doors are fully installed without full prepayment (while orders over £3000 require a deposit) - so you pay in full after your new door has been fitted. Each door is bespoke, which is why we conduct a free survey and discuss your options before the new door goes into production,.
After installation of your new door and payment is taken, we will supply you with the guarantee, and you'll be able to contact our Projects Team should your door ever require aftercare.
