The Argyll composite back door is a modern style with tall vertical glass panel running down the handle side of a flat 'Garda' style slab, and is one of three such doors with a slender full height glass panel (the other two being the Monmouth with glass in the centre, and the Gwynedd with glass on the hinge side). The door slab has a grained wood like surface, which is actually a low maintenance glass reinforced plastic (or GRP for short) skin. Naturally, the Argyll composite back door is perfect for a contemporary style property.
There are several finishes to choose from, from the warm poppy red to cool duck egg blue, the dark anthracite grey to the light pebble. The frame comes either in white or matched to the finish of your door. Similarly, the interior of the door and frame can also be manufactured to different finishes; however the vast majority of customers prefer to keep the interior side as white.
The Argyll composite back door is energy efficient, using high performance weatherseals to keep out draught, and warm edge tech spacer bars in the glass to minimise internal heat loss.
Glass designs for the Argyll door include Clear, Box Lead and Diamond Lead, and each can be paired with a backing glass pattern, such as the simple textured Cotswold, the botanical Everglade or Sandblast, to not only add a decorative element to your glass, but with different levels of obscurity among them provide added privacy to your home while still letting in natural light.
Our fully fitted composite back doors do not require a full pre payment (orders over £3000 are subject to a deposit), so you won't pay in full until after your new door has been installed. We also provide a free survey to get the measurements needed for manufacturing your new door, and with installation no mess is left behind and at no extra charge we take away your old door for disposal.
