The Middlesex composite back door (also known as the Garda 3 Diamond) is a contemporary door style, with triple diamonds of glass running down the centre of the door, and with a flat slab that may look like timber, but in fact has a weather resistant GRP (or glass reinforced plastic) skin with a grained wood like surface.

As with all of our external composite doors, the Middlesex composite back door is highly secure, with steel reinforcement within the frame, and a Secured By Design multi point locking system providing police approved protection. The door is also thermally efficient, with warm edge tech spacer bars in the glass working to reduce the amount of heat lost from inside your home, and draught is kept outside with high performance weatherseals.

The Middlesex composite back door comes in a variety of colourful and grey toned finishes, from black to white, cool duck egg blue to warm buttercup, vibrant poppy red to subtle cream. The frame also comes in these finishes or in white by default. Similarly, the interior of the door and frame can be made to a different finish than white, although most of our customers prefer to leave this as white.

There is a selection of hardware finishes available for the handle, and letterplate should you add this. The glass can be paired with one of our backing glass designs for added decoration or privacy, and these same backing glass patterns can be included with any top light, side panels or flag windows that you might have with you new door.

Our fully fitted composite back doors come with a free survey, where an experienced fitter will take the measurements needed for us to build your new door, as every home is unique. When it comes to fitting, your installer will carry this out with minimal disruption to your home, and at no extra charge will take away the old door for disposal.

Fully fitted doors do not require a full pre payment (orders over £3000 will require a deposit), so you won't pay in full until your new door has been installed.
