A contemporary style door for contemporary style homes, the Monmouth composite back door has a flat slab with a slender full height glass panel in the middle, and is one of three door styles with this combination of tall glass panel and flat slab (the other two are the Argyll, with the glass panel on the handle side, and the Gwynedd, with the glass on the hinge side). The slab has a GRP skin (short for glass reinforced plastic) that is both easy to clean and grained just like a timber door would be.
The Monmouth composite back door comes with the glass designs Clear, Box Lead and Diamond Lead, and with backing glass options. Our backing glass provides texture and pattern to the glass panel, from the chiselled appearance of Arctic to the elegant design of Pelerine, and each design offers a different level of obscurity for a customer wanting to have some privacy for their home. These same backing glass choices can be applied to top lights or side panels should these be required for your door. Alternatively, top lights and side panels can include solid panelling, either flat or tongue & groove, and mid railed side panels can have the top section glazed and the bottom solid.
The Monmouth is available in a variety of finishes, both colourful and grey toned, from the soft cream to the vibrant heather, dark anthracite grey or light pebble. The frame comes in a the same range of finishes, able to be matched to that of your door or be made to white by default.
Energy efficient, the Monmouth composite back door keeps more heat indoors with warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass, and leaves the cold out with high performance weatherseals.
Our fully fitted composite back doors do not require a full prepayment (orders over £3000 will require a deposit) - this means that you won't pay in full for the door until after installation. We are confident in the quality of our products and service, and trust that you will too.
