One of the solid composite doors that we offer, the Norfolk composite back door is a cottage style, having a 'Kingston' style slab that has a grooved near-full sized rectangle with vertical lines inside of it. Being a solid door, the Norfolk provides maximum privacy and works well within a rural property, not only as a back entrance door, but also for a garage.
The Norfolk composite door has the appearance of a standard wooden external door, sharing the same grained look. However, the Norfolk composite door offers several advantages, firstly due to its GRP skin (glass reinforced plastic for short) that is not only easy to clean but also weather resistant, whereas a wooden door can warp and wear in the weather and generally requires repainting to look like new.
The Norfolk composite door is highly secure, thanks not only to a high impact surface and steel reinforced frame that ensure sturdiness, but also due to a pre-fitted and Secured By Design multi point locking system reinforcing several points of the door when locked, all these features proving a bane to would-be intruders.
Should your door require side panels or a top light, these can either be solid, or be glazed but have backing glass, which adds not only a decorative element to the glass but also obscures viewing into your home from those passing by, and at the same time let in natural light.
There is a selection of cat flaps and pet doors (like larger cats as well as dogs) that we can pre-fit to your new door, with options for manual operated or microchip activated, the latter recognising your cat or dog's registered microchip. Other accessories and hardware available for the Norfolk composite door include knockers, handles and letterplates in different finishes. Not only that, the door comes in a variety of finishes, which can also be applied to the frame to match.
When you place the order for your Fully Fitted Norfolk composite back door, we don't take full payment upfront. First we carry out a free survey, where one of our professionals will take the measurements of your doorway. We discuss your order with you before finalising the details and proceeding to manufacture. Once your door is ready, we'll let you know and arrange a suitable time for installation, taking away your old door at no extra charge. Only after your door has been fully installed will we ask for full payment.
