Also known as a Carolina, the Essex composite front door is a Georgian inspired design, featuring a half moon top panel of glass with Georgian Grill, and four solid rectangular panels below. Due to its traditional appearance, the Essex composite front door is ideally suited with conservative finishes, such as our standard blue, green or red, although a variety of bolder, softer and grey finishes are also available, and while the frame is white as standard it can also be matched to the colour of your door.

The Essex composite front door looks like a standard wooden external door, but bears the advantages of a low maintenance GRP (or glass reinforced plastic) skin with a grained surface just like wood, and of being up to six times more thermally efficient, as the glass features warm edge spacer technology to reduce the amount of internal heat lost from your home, and Q-Lon gasket weatherseals to keep out the cold and noise for years to come thanks to their guaranteed for life hardiness.

Each door is unique and as such we provide a free survey for all fully fitted doors, booked at a time and date convenient for you. When our sales team receive the sizes taken by an expert installer, they will be able to advise you should you require anything for your new door, whether it's top lights and side panels, or a lower threshold for wheelchair access. Our sale team will also discuss with you any changes or additions to your order before it is finalised and put into production.

Our experienced fitter will ensure that installation of your new composite door takes place with minimal disturbance to you, with removal and disposal of your older door included free of charge. What's more, we won't take full payment for your door until installation is complete.
