The Gloucester composite front door (also known as the Garda 4 Handle) is a mid 20th century inspired design, with a flat slab and four small squares of glass running down the handle side. Available in a variety of colours, the Gloucester composite door has a grained surface that looks like wood, but is actually a glass reinforced plastic (or GRP for short) skin that's resistant to impact, resistant to uv fading and easy to clean.

From a warm buttercup to a cool duck egg blue, select from our wide choice of colours, and these same finishes are available for the frame too, which is white by default. The same is true for the interior, although the majority of customers favour keeping this white. If you have a specific paint code you want your door to match, we can even paint your door to a bespoke finish from the Dulux, Farrow & Ball, British Standard and RAL ranges.

Our glass designs for the Gloucester composite door range from the basic Box Lead to the more detailed Zinc Art Elegance, and are a mixture of double and triple glazed styles. Or double glazed styles come with the option for a backing glass pattern, with several simple and more decorative designs to choose from, each offering different levels of obscurity.

Energy efficient, the Gloucester composite front door makes use of warm edge spacer bar technology to minimise heat loss, while Q-Lon gasket weatherseals that can withstand years of wear and tear will keep out the cold and reduce external noise.

You can take comfort in the fact that we don't ask for full payment upfront on fully fitted composite doors (a deposit is needed for orders over £3000), instead waiting until fitting is complete before requesting payment from you. After payment, we send you a guarantee for your door, and offer help through our projects team should you require aftercare on your new composite front door.
