The Halifax composite door is a contemporary style external door, with twin half circle glass panels in the top of a flat 'Garda style slab (the Halifax is also known as the Garda C2). The door has a grained surface that looks like wood, but is actually a Glass Reinforced Plastic (or GRP for short) skin that's easy to wipe clean when dirty.
Pre fitted to the Halifax composite door is one of our catflaps or pet doors (these are for larger cats, and dogs from small to medium sizes). The two kinds of catflap (and pet door) we offer are the Petsafe Manual Classic catflap, which as the name suggests is locked and unlocked manually by hand, the other kind is the SureFlap microchip activated catflap.
The SureFlap catflap comes in three types - the regular catflap activated by your cat's implanted microchip; the DualScan, perfect for homes with multiple cats, letting you set different rules for different cats; and finally the Connect, much like the DualScan allowing you to set different rules for each cat, but additionally works with an app in conjunction with the Connect Hub (included), for instance notifying you when your cat uses the Connect catflap.
The Halifax composite door includes the security features of a steel reinforced frame and Secured By Design multi point locking system, both standard features of our external composite doors.
Choose a finish from a variety of colours and grey tones for your Halifax door, whether you fancy a formal slate grey, a bright poppy red, or a calm dusk. Your frame can be colour matched to the door, or ordered in standard white.
Each one of our supply only external composite doors with catflaps is made to measure, and perfect for both trade customers and do it yourself home installers.
