Slate Grey Gwynedd Composite Back Doors

The Gwynedd composite back door is a contemporary design consisting of a tall hinge side glass panel and flat 'Garda' slab, which has a GRP skin (short for glass reinforced plastic) that is grained like a wooden door, easy to clean and resistant to rain. The Gwynedd is one of three composite back door styles with a flat slab and single tall thin glass panel; the other two are the Argyll (glass on the handle side) and Monmouth (glass in the centre).

Glass designs available for the Gwynedd are plain glass, Box Lead and Diamond Lead, which come with backing glass options. Patterns from the hammer chiselled Arctic to the elegant Pelerine, as well as Sandblast, provide added decoration to the glass panel, as well as a degree of privacy for your property with different levels of obscurity among the backing glass options. Top lights, side panels and flag windows can also have backing glass, or for greater obscurity solid panelling.

The Gwynedd composite back door can be ordered in a wide range of finishes, from the earthy olive (also known as french grey) to bright poppy, or slate grey to soft dusk. The frame is white by default, but can be matched to the door finish. While our range of finishes will suit many tastes, should you require the door or frame to be matched to a specific paint colour, we offer a bespoke colour service using RAL, British Standard, Farrow & Ball and Dulux paint codes.
