The London composite back door is a design inspired by Edwardian era doors, featuring a traditional arched glass panel in the top of the door, and three solid vertical panels comprising the remaining height. The door has a grained GRP skin (short for glass reinforced plastic) that gives it the look of a timber door, but is easy to clean and weather resistant in comparison.

Accompanying the London composite back door is a selection of glass designs - Clear glass, Box Lead, Diamond Lead, and the two Edwardian inspired designs of the Mackintosh rose Hansen and the colourful floral and bordered Opus. Each of these glass designs can be paired with a backing glass pattern, such as Charcoal Sticks or the floral Pelerine, or with Clear and Sandblasted backing glass. Backing glass adds a decorative element to the glass panel, as well as provide a degree of privacy, due to the different levels of obscurity each one has, whilst letting through natural sunlight.

The London composite back door comes in a variety of colourful and grey toned finishes, from the light silver grey to dark anthracite grey, and the cool dusk to warm buttercup. The frame can be ordered in white by default or matched to the door's finish. Additionally, the internal side of the door and frame are white as standard, but these too can be made to different finishes; however, most customers prefer to leave these as white to better match their home interior.

With warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass and pre fitted with high performance weatherseals, the London composite back door is thermally efficient, with spacer bars minimising heat loss and the weatherseals keeping the cold out.

Each one made to measure, our supply only composite back doors are ideal for both DIY fitting and trade customers alike.
