The Northumberland composite back door is a colonial design, with four glass panels (two small squares at the top and two medium rectangles in the middle) and two solid rectangular panels beneath them. Grained like wood, the Northumberland looks like a timber door, but actually has a glass reinforced plastic (or GRP for short) skin that is both weather resistant and easy to clean.

A classical style, the Northumberland composite back door includes elegant glass designs, and also modern ones that work just as well, with double glass designs such as Box Lead, Blue Sextet and the frosted and etched bevelled Red Cavana, and triple glazed such as Zinc Art Elegance and the frosted and etched border Kensington. To accompany the double glazed designs, you can choose a backing glass pattern for extra decoration, from the hammer chiselled effect Arctic to the curved shapes of Everglade, and each also provides a certain level of obscurity, ideal for a preferred degree of privacy.

If your door requires a top light or side panels, these can either be glazed and have backing glass, or be solid with flat panels or tongue & groove. Additionally, we also offer mid railed side panels, allowing for glass in the top section and solid panel in the bottom.

The Northumberland composite back door is energy efficient, featuring warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass panels to minimise internal heat loss, and pre fitted with high performance weatherseals to block out external draught. This door is also high secure, with a steel reinforced frame, and with a Secured By Design insurance approved multi point locking system, standard features of our external composite doors.

Ideal for trade and DIY customers alike, each one of our supply only composite back doors is made to measure, and so will be ready for you to fit.
