The Sussex composite back door is a colonial six panel design, with two glass squares at the top, and four solid panels beneath them, While considered a traditional design, this door will look just as good in a contemporary style property, and while the surface of the door slab may look like wood, this is actually a low maintenance GRP skin (short for glass reinforced plastic) with a grained surface.

The range of glass designs available for the Sussex composite back door is elegant and stylish enough to suit any home, with double glass designs such as Box Lead and the colourful diamond Red Sextet, and triple glass designs like the frosted and clear bordered Kensington and the intricately textured and bevelled Zinc Art Abstract. Our double glass designs can be paired with backing glass, with backing glass also possible for potential top lights, side panels or flag windows, either providing the glass with a decorative element, or a degree of privacy for the home with different levels of obscurity. Alternatively, solid panelling can be used to fill in top lights, side panels or flag windows, either flat or tongue & groove.

The Kent composite back door is thermally efficient, the door pre fitted with high performance weatherseals to block out cold, and the glass using warm edge spacer bar technology to help reduce the amount of heat that is lost from indoors.

A selection of colourful and greyscale finishes can be ordered for the Kent style door, including heather pink, chartwell green, aubergine (also known as plum) and slate grey. The frame is available in standard white or matched to the finish of your new door.

Each of our supply only composite back doors is made to size, and includes free delivery to most areas in Britain (enquire for delivery to outlying areas).
