The Gwynedd composite front door is one of our modern designs. Also known as the Garda D4 Hinge, it features a tall glass panel on the hinge side and has a flat 'Garda' slab with a grained wood like GRP (or glass reinforced plastic) skin that is rain resistant and easy to clean. The Gwynedd door is one style in a trio of doors with full height narrow glass against a Garda slab, the other two being the Lancashire (with the glass on the handle side) and the Monmouth (with the glass in the centre).

Our composite doors are up to six times more energy efficient than average external timber doors, and to help keep your home insulated the Gwynedd composite front door uses warm edge spacer bar technology within the glass to minimise the amount of heat lost from inside the home, and pre fitted Q-Lon gasket weatherseals that are guaranteed for life against deterioration will provide a firm seal against the cold for years to come.

The Gwynedd composite front door comes in a variety of finishes, with colours such as green and blue, pastel shades like dusk and cream, bright colours such as heather and poppy, or grey tones like black and silver grey. The frame is white by default but can be colour matched to the door or made to a different finish. If you require your door and frame to be a specific paint colour, we offer a bespoke colour service using RAL, British Standard, Dulux and Farrow & Ball paint codes.
