One of our traditional style composite front doors, the Lothian composite door consists of three glass (one half moon and two rectangle) glass panels and two solid panels, set against a slab with a grained wood like skin that is in fact glass reinforced plastic (or GRP for short). This door comes in a variety of colours, from standard green to soft olive (also known as french grey), or greys like silver grey and anthracite grey. The frame is white by default, but can be matched to the colour of the frame. The interior of the door and frame can also have a colour of choice, but the majority of customers prefer to leave this as white. Should you require the door and frame to be a specific paint colour, we offer a bespoke painting service using RAL, Dulux, British Standard and Farrow & Ball colour codes.

As well as clear, Box Lead and Diamond Lead, a range of classical and contemporary glass designs are available for the Lothian door, including the etched and bevelled Blue Cavana, or the Deco inspired triple glass Zinc Art Abstract. For double glass styles, and for top lights, side panels and flag windows, there are decorative and simple patterned backing glass options, each providing a different level of obscurity. Top lights, side panels and flag windows can alternatively be filled with solid panel, and side panels can also be half glazed.

The Lothian composite front door includes security features such as steel reinforcement within the frame, and a Secured By Design multipoint locking system as standard. The door also includes warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass units to minimise heat loss, and long lasting Q-Lon gasket weatherseals to effectively block out the cold and reduce external noise.

Each of our supply only composite doors is made to measure, which is convenient for for DIY fitting and trade customers.
