One style in the modern range of Monza doors (which also go by the name of Varese doors), the Monza 4 Square Handle is, as the name suggests, a door with four glass panels set down the handle side of the door, with flat cassettes as opposed to the ridged cassettes that are common with our other composite doors. Monza door slabs are similar to those of 'Kingston' doors, having a linear grooved rectangle taking up the majority of the slab's space. The difference is that the Monza doors have horizontal dividing lines within this rectangle, rather than the vertical ones of the Kingston slab doors.
Contemporary glass designs are available for the Monza 4 Square Handle, while plain glass can be paired with a backing glass pattern, which not only provides additional decoration, but can also obscure viewing into your property by passers-by, whether fitted in the front or back. Backing glass can be included within top lights or side panels, should these be a part of your door's configuration. The glass we use for the Monza 4 Square Handle composite door contains warm edge tech spacer bars, designed to reduce internal heat loss and aid with insulation.
As is standard with our composite doors, the Monza 4 Square Handle is pre-fitted with high performance weatherseals, which will create a firm seal around your door against external draught. Also pre-fitted to this door is a Secured By Design multi point locking system, giving strengthened protection across different points of the door against forced entry.
Additionally, the Monza 4 Square Handle door has a GRP (glass reinforced plastic) skin, having a grained effect like wood but offering advantages over standard wooden doors - it is weather resistant and easy to clean, whereas a wooden door can dampen or chip when exposed to the elements, and may require repainting within short periods.
