The Northumberland is a Georgian inspired composite front door featuring four glass panels (two small squares at the top and two larger rectangles beneath it) and two solid panels at the bottom, set upon a grained slab that looks just like a wooden door, but in fact this surface is a durable and easy to clean GRP (or glass reinforced plastic) skin. As well as white, you can select a finish for your door from various colours and greyscales, such as standard red, pastel chartwell green, or solemn anthracite grey. The frame is white by default, but can be colour matched to the door. The same is true for the internal side of the door and frame, although most customers are content to leave these as white. As well as our existing range of finishes, we can also bespoke colour your door and frame according to RAL, British Standard, farrow & Ball and Dulux paint codes.

The Northumberland composite front door has a variety of double and triple glass designs, from Diamond Lead to Kensington, plain glass to the elaborate Zinc Prairie. Double glazed designs include the option for a backing glass pattern, with basic and decorative patterns varying in levels of obscurity. These same backing glass designs can be included for top lights, flag windows and side panels, with solid panelling also available and half glazed side panels possible.

Both energy efficient and highly secure, the Northumberland composite door includes a steel reinforced frame for added sturdiness, a Secured By Design multi point locking system for police and insurance approved protection, non deteriorating Q-Lon gasket weatherseals to keep the cold out, and warm edge spacer bar tech within the glass to reduce heat loss.

Each of our supply only composite front doors is made to order and to your sizes, allowing you more time to install the door - a perfect option for DIY customers and trade customers alike.
