The Jacobean composite Rock Door is a Victorian inspired design, with twin glass rectangular panels and twin raised solid panels beneath them. This door can be fitted as a front entrance door or as a back door, and while its configuration is considered traditional, its appearance also makes it suitable for a contemporary property. The Jacobean Rock Door is similar to the Dorset twin vertical door, but the difference is that the glass for the Jacobean is sealed within the door using S-Glaze technology rather than between cassettes.

The glass available for the Jacobean composite Rock Door includes such styles as the Diamond range with lead and coloured diamond sections (in red, white, green or black), and the Scorpio with intricate lines and diamond cut bevels. There are backing glass patterns, such as Gluechip and Sandstone that add some texture to the glass and provide a degree of privacy due to their various levels of obscurity. Should you require a top light, or perhaps side panels or flag windows, these can also have backing glass, or alternatively sold panelling.

The Jacobean Rock Door has a grained wood like surface, that is in fact an easy to clean, high impact GRP skin (which stands for glass reinforced plastic). The door comes in a selection of finishes, from the soft chartwell green to bright red, a grey tone such as anthracite or a wood grain like irish oak. The frame comes in white or can be matched to the colour of your door (excluding green, red or blue).

Designed to be thermally efficient, the Jacobean uses high energy rated glass and PU foam insulation within the door to decrease heat loss from indoors, while twin seal weatherseals block out the cold from outside.
