Oak Glasgow Upvc Back Doors

Also known as the Brora, the Glasgow upvc back door is a 1930s style external door, with a square in top that has a curved top with flat shoulders and is surrounded by raised mouldings, and the remainder of the panel's space taken by twin vertical linear mouldings. The arched square is glazed, or the door available as a Glasgow Solid.

To match the elegance of the door's design and the era that inspired it, we offer a selection of glass designs, such as the Elba with diamond lead and door number within a circle, the Rennie Mackintosh inspired Ebro with colourful rose and segmenting lines, and the colour foiled flower bud Vistula. In addition to these glass designs, there is also backing glass, which can add a decorative element to your glass of choice, with patterns from the suitably named Mayflower to the hammer chiselled effect Arctic, as well as Sandblast. Backing glass can also provide some privacy for your property, with each having a different level of obscurity, but all still letting through natural sunlight. Similarly, top lights and side panels can have backing glass, or alternatively solid panelling for greater obscurity.

Our Glasgow upvc back door is energy efficient, made with polyvinyl material that better retains heat than wood, pre fitted with high performance weatherseals to keep out the cold, and the glass using warm edge spacer bar technology to minimise heat loss from indoors. This door also includes high security features, such as an insurance approved Secured By Design multi point locking system, and a steel reinforced frame.
