Also known as the Cairn, the Sheffield upvc back door is a traditional style consisting of a linear raised rectangle in the lower section, and a larger rectangle with arched top in the upper section, both following the shape of a twist patterned ring in between them. The Sheffield has a Baroque inspired appearance that makes it suitable as an external door to a classical style property.

Unlike standard wooden doors, the Sheffield upvc back door is more cost effective, having a surface that is weather proof (it won't get damp as wood might), easy to clean and not requiring repainting (while a painted wooden door can chip and peel when exposed to the elements). This door comes in the finishes of white, black, chartwell green, anthracite grey, and the wood grains rosewood, oak and irish oak. The frame is matched to the door's finish by default, or can be ordered in white.

The selection of glass for the Sheffield upvc back door includes plain glass, Diamond Lead, Georgian Bar (in white, oak or rosewood), and the climbing rose Drava. There are two versions of each glass design (with the exception of Drava), one where the glass is within the upper moulding, and the other where the glass is in both the upper and lower sections. The glass designs can be paired with backing glass, with patterns from the textured Contora to the botanical Pelerine, as well as Sandblast, each providing a different level of obscurity as well decoration.

The Sheffield upvc back door is energy efficient, with the polyvinyl material of the door retaining more heat than old timber doors, the Sheffield door pre fitted with high performance weatherseals, and using warm edge tech spacer bars within the glass to reduce internal heat loss.

Each supply only upvc back door is made to bespoke sizes to ensure easy self fitting by trade or DIY customers. Free delivery is available to homes and sites throughout most of mainland Britain (enquire regarding delivery to outlying areas).
