The Glasgow upvc front door (or the Brora style) is a vintage 1930s inspired external door design, which has a high set rectangular glass panel with a shouldered oval arch top, and beneath this glass panel are twin linear solid rectangles making up the rest of the height, with these solid panels and the edges of the glass panel defined by raised mouldings. Space between the upper panel and twin lower panels allows for a letterplate or knocker, of which come in a selection of finishes, from chrome to gold.

The glass designs available for the Glasgow upvc front door are equally vintage inspired, with designs such as Diamond Lead, the bevelled Rhine, the colourful Ebro, and Georgian Bar (for white, oak and rosewood doors only). These glass designs can be paired with backing glass patterns, with basic textures like Stippolyte and Arctic, and more decorative designs such as Mayflower and Pelerine, which each offering a different level of obscurity whilst allowing natural light indoors. The same backing glass patterns can be applied to top lights, side panels and flag windows, which can alternatively have solid panelling. A Solid version of the Glasgow door is also an option.

The Glasgow upvc front door has an easy to clean surface and comes in such finishes as chartwell green, black, or a wood grain like irish oak. The frame can be matched to the colour of the door or be ordered in white.

Energy efficient, this door makes use of warm edge tech spacer bars in the glass unit to help reduce internal heat loss, while non deteriorating Q-Lon gaskets provide a firm seal against the cold outside.

Our supply only Glasgow style upvc front doors are made to measure with each order, and include free delivery to most areas in Britain (please enquire for delivery to the Highlands and islands).
