The Aberdeen upvc door is one of our traditional designs (and also goes by the name of a Melfort door), having a glazed top half, where the glass is rectangular in shape with a pointed top, and in the bottom half are twin embossed vertical rectangles, which similarly appear in other upvc door designs that we offer (these being the Newham, Enfield and Nottingham doors).

To match the Aberdeen door's traditional appearance are a selection of classical glass options, consisting of various lead and colour foiled designs. In addition to these are the options for backing glass, consisting of simple textures and elegant patterns, which not only go well with the look of the glass but can also help to maintain privacy for your property, due to the different types of obscurity each one of them has. Backing glass, while able to obscure viewing into your home, will still let throughout natural light, but should you need fuller obscurity an Aberdeen Solid door is available. In a similar vain, any top lights or side panels you should require can have backing glass as well, or solid panelling matched to the door or frame's finish.

One of the advantages that our upvc doors has over timber doors is their low maintenance requirements. Our upvc doors are easy to clean, so don't need constant looking after; they are weather resistant, and so won't soak as wood can; and never need repainting, whereas painting wooden doors can chip or peel due to heat, moisture or cold.

Our upvc ffront doors are designed to be energy efficient, as we use warm edge spacer bar technology within the glass to reduce internal heat loss, and each door is pre-fitted with high performance weatherseals to keep the cold outdoors.
