Birmingham Upvc Front Doors

The Birmingham upvc front door is a simply elegant style, with a full height, arch top glass panel taking up most of the door's space and surrounded by an astragal border. This door's simple design makes it suitable as a front or back entrance door, and it has an easy to clean surface.

As well as plain glass and a Solid option, decorative glass designs compliment the Birmingham upvc front door's classic style, including the intricately bevelled Ursa, the Art Deco inspired Vela with came lines plus a central oval and peacock feather bevels, and the climbing rose Serpens with intersecting square lead and with green and red coloured glass sections. The plain glass, Vela and Serpens designs can have a backing glass pattern to further decorate the door or add a level of privacy, from the basic texture Charcoal Sticks to the more elaborate Everglade, and even sandblast. Each backing glass varies in the degree of obscurity it offers, and they are also available to top lights, flag windows or side panels, which can alternatively have solid panelling for greater obscurity. Half glazed, solid with mid rail and glazed with mid rail are possible configurations for side panels.

The Birmingham upvc front door is designed to be energy efficient, with warm edge tech spacer bars in the glass unit useful in reducing the amount of heat that gets lost from indoors, and pre fitted to the door are Q-Lon gasket weatherseals that not only form a tight seal against the draught, but which are also guaranteed for life against deterioration from age and use. Additionally, the Birmingham's glass is toughened, and the door is pre fitted with a Secured By Design multi point locking system and pre hung with a steel reinforced frame as standard.
